Classic Rosewood Signature Simple Supper | $35 for two

Since so many of our guests like to hibernate (especially after indulging in a massage by our “Caring Hands” team), we have expanded our supper options.

All simple suppers are for two and are served in a large tureen with almost three servings each. (We said simple, not light!) Our seasonal salad is also included.

You may pick up your supper at the kitchen window on your schedule. Choose to enjoy in your suite or at any table for two in the inn as there is no table service with this casual offering.

We pride ourselves in using organic and local ingredients when possible.

Supper options:

• Vegetarian Chili with Avocado Salsa (can do vegan upon request) served with lime and tortilla chips
• Polpetti (sirloin meatballs) and orzo in broth (very interesting textures and served with hearty bread)
• Creamy wild rice with smoked turkey (a Minnesota favorite with big chunks of turkey)
• Tomato basil and grilled cheese sandwich (sandwich is made with three cheeses and homemade bread)
• Red potato and salmon chowder (creamy and served with crusty French bread or rolls)
• Chicken and cabbage panade (on the order of French onion soup with layers of cheese and French bread)

Please give us 24 hours notice for your choice. If you are with us for a few days and decide to dine in, don’t hesitate to ask if we can do it for you on shorter notice.

We do not have a liquor license, so you may bring in your own wine or champagne if you are so inclined. We do have the accessories, including glasses, openers, and chillers. Between May and November, you might even like to visit our local winery and choose a fine award winning Alexis Bailly accompaniment.

Favorite Eateries

We would love to serve you our simple supper here at the Inn, but if you feel like a night out, or are staying two nights and want to dine in one night and one night out, we have some great independent eateries (many chef owned) we highly recommend. We keep their menus in the library but many change options seasonally and use fresh local ingredients so check out their websites too!

We are always happy to make reservations for you too. One of the things we like best are our guests who also love to support our independent eateries and do not have a “Priceline attitude” but an appreciation that they are serving superb hospitality, amazing food and can compete with chain restaurants and fast food dives. We need to support small independents to keep them alive and thriving! We believe wholeheartedly and practice the 3/50 theory!
