Massage, chocolates, and dinner - pure indulgence! A basket of chocolate truffles from our own local chocolatier, Creative Confectionaire, will be waiting bedside in your suite, along with gourmet cocoa mix and a special collection of chocolate recipes from our Innkeepers in the St. Croix Valley. Enjoy a half hour massage for each of you in your suite or a full hour massage for one. Then you may pick up your Simple Supper at the kitchen window and enjoy it in your suite or at one of the tables for two in the common areas.

Ultimate Pure Indulgence | $255

Includes everything in the Pure Indulgence package, an upgrade to a full hour massage for each, and an incredible fresh flower bouquet to take home.

Would you like us to sneak a Romance Basket in your suite to surprise your sweetheart? Just imagine … a basket filled with a lace liner, a book of "True Love", decadent truffles created by our own town's local chocolatier Creative Confectionaire, and an aroma therapy candle in a lovely glass decanter and the sweetest of teddy bears pronouncing your love in a special message he holds in his little hand (paw)!

Chocolate Obsession Basket | $80

Did you know that chocolate is good for the heart - especially dark chocolate? So this basket is good for your heart in more ways than one, especially when you have it waiting in your suite for your sweet someone.

The basket includes a recipe collection from 18 innkeepers of the St. Croix Valley, half a dozen decadent truffles created by our own local chocolatier, Creative Confectionaire, divine gourmet hot chocolate mix, two custom pottery mugs, plus the best of all - a voucher for two tickets for a Sunday in March tour of inns in the St. Croix Valley (the famous Chocolate March) with chocolate tastings at each. You choose the Sunday in March and the region of the Valley you want to visit.

Due to popular demand we have added the opportunity for a great hour and half massage at $225 per couple and an incredible hour of tandem massage at $330 per couple plus happy foot massage at $95 per couple.

Follow the rose petal trail from the door of your suite to the bed chamber. A basket of sensory delights (aromatherapy, chocolates and poetry) sits bedside. Then take upon departure either the "Remember Rosewood" or "Forget Me not Thorwood" Basket.

Honeyboomer Package | $220

Let this be the honeymoon you never had or it is the honeymoon you will never forget! Enjoy all the honeymoon anniversary package has to offer and then some. We will include all of the above plus a full hour body massage for each of you in the privacy of your suite and in house Simple Supper for two (price is in addition to the room of your choice).

Classic Rosewood Birds and Brownies | from $200

Imagine two of the best things in life--- eating brownies and bird watching! Then imagine combining the two. Not an original idea, but one we “stole” from our own nearby Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center, where they occasionally treat you with brownies at the end of a nature hike.

Our package includes “Classic Rosewood Death Row” brownies at the beginning of the tour (packed in your birding duffle also included in the package) and at the end (with homemade ice cream) back at the inn. You might be rocking on the porch or sitting fireside watching our backyard birds enjoy our feeders with your treat.

You will check into your room at Classic Rosewood for two nights and days of adventure and nature adoration. The hike and bird watching will take place at the Nature Center, which boasts 300 acres with 15 miles of marked trails overlooking the bluffs of the St. Croix River. The first expedition is with a field guide (binoculars provided if you don’t have your own). The second trek is on your own later the same day or the next day.

Your stay includes free access to the pantry and full breakfast to YOUR schedule (yes - even packed to go with you on the trail, with a second course when you get back to the inn!)

Valley Girls Brunch and Beyond

Imagine having a wonderful time away with five close friends, sisters, bridesmaids!

This lively package includes three of our top whirlpool fireplace rooms (Cove, Solarium and Mississippi Under the Stars) so you have the whole third floor to yourselves. It includes Brunch at the Afton House Sunday so it can be a Saturday and Sunday evening or a Sunday and Monday evening or it could even be a Friday and Saturday evening. You will enjoy Caring Hands Spa with a a $75 voucher each, our simple supper in house one evening and pizza vouchers the other and breakfast one morning plus the fabulous brunch at Afton House inn Sunday morning!

Pajama Party Packages

The 3 Ps: Free popcorn, delivered pizza and game of Pictionary with any two or more rooms booked for a bunch of giggly girls of any age.

Empty Nester Package | $400

OK - the last kid is in college now. It is just the two of you. Come and be pampered. Remember what it was like when that same kid went off to kindergarten. It is a sweet sadness. You need to take time for just you two now. Enjoy a whirlpool fireplace suite, and our divine simple supper for two and a care package NOT to be shared with the kids.

The care package includes a journal for reminiscing, stationary to write the kid because just emails will not be enough (and you cannot send money via email), a cookbook of recipes for two, a pair of divine truffles and finally a gift certificate to use another time because you know it is necessary to make this a habit!

Cost for the Empty Nester Package: $400. Time alone together at last: priceless!

Hibernate Package

Spend three nights in any one of our whirlpool-fireplace suites and only pay for two nights.

Available Sunday-Friday, November-May.
